RaShida was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, and is the youngest child of Yolanda Hosea. She is the proud granddaughter of Hettie (Hosea) Carter.
After graduating from high school, I attended Indiana University–Bloomington, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2013, majoring in Health Administration with a minor in Human Resources.
I currently work as a Security Information Administrator for a network of hospitals. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching movies.
Serving on the Hosea Family Association Board, I am granted the opportunity to strengthen connections between generations, ensuring that younger family members not only know the family’s story but feel proud to carry it forward. Most importantly, it allows me to honor the work of those who came before me by contributing to something bigger than myself—our family’s shared identity, unity, and future.
